The difference between 80% and 90% Solar Screens

The primary difference between the two solar screens is their weave density. Solar screens are tightly woven to block harmful UV rays and reduce heat.

An 80% solar screen blocks approximately 80% of sunlight, while a 90% screen offers even greater protection by using a tighter weave to block about 90% of sunlight. The 90% option is ideal for windows that receive direct sunlight, providing maximum glare and heat reduction.

The 80% screen still offers effective sun protection and glare reduction but allows more natural light into the room, helping to maintain a brighter interior.

Both options allow airflow and outward visibility, so you can enjoy a breeze and still see outside.
